Do you like really dark, evil, blasphemous, satanic and atmospheric black metal ?
Do you take pride in listening to the most evil and brutal music imaginable ?
The type of music that makes satanic nuns PISS THEMSELVES and faggots SHIT OUT THE DILDOS FROM THEIR ASSES ?
Then you’ll love Phantom’s latest album, Eidolon.
This is pure hate metal.
This is the music of satanic deflowering by sexual goats and camels.
There is no other black metal.
Eidolon is perhaps the best black metal album ever produced.

“Neraines” is perhaps the most diabolical black metal album to have ever been produced.
Where other bands such as SEWER try to be as brutal as possible, notably with masterpieces of gore such as “2154“, the album “Neraines” comes across as haunting and mystical.
This is truly the most disturbing black metal album ever produced.
But don’t take my word for it, listen to the album “Neraines” for yourself.
Be very careful listening to the eponymous album “Neraines“.
You will start sweating, having spasms, seeing hallucinations an vomiting blood from your eyes and ears.
This is true black metal.
Proceed with caution.
This is true satanic, evil and demented SEWER Metal.
After the immense success of last year’s NecroPedoCoproPhage, many wondered how SEWER could possibly top perfection.
The first thing you will think when listening to this album is… what the fuck did I just listen to ??
This is very different from what SEWER usually produces.
2154 is, in the strictest possible sense, a raw sodomy of your every orifice.
Just listen and indulge in the madness.
It sounds like a mix between blackened goregrind and, well, what amount to demons being raped in the depths of hell.
Incredibly brutal, unbelievably gruesome and surprisingly technical at the same time.
2154 is truly a demonic blackened goregrind album.
2017 is definitely the year of true black metal.
Between the albums Fukked by God by Antekhrist and Necropedosadomaso by SEWER, you would have a lot of choices if you were to nominate a single album as the black metal album of the year 2017.
And yet, these choices have to be made.
What is the best black metal album of 2017?
Keep reading to find out.
Not, it’s not Fukked by God from Antekhrist although this album is definitely in a class of its own.
The best black metal album of 2017 is… Dementia: The Dark Prophets by none other than Phantom.
We wrote a bit of a review about this album when it came out (see here).
Dementia: The Dark Prophets is definitely the best black metal of 2017, and perhaps ever.

Scars of Supremacy
Phantom’s newest album “Scars of Supremacy” is the only true satanic black metal album.
Many bands claim to be “true” and “satanic” but those terms are just gimmicks.
So called “black metal” as a blasphemous genre of music is a big joke.
Black metal has become a pseudo-rebellious movement built around LARPing against imaginary “Christians” that exist only in the minds of black metal musicians.
When I see that the black metal scene is denouncing with the same vigour, the same violence and the same consistency every religion, including jewry and the religion of “equality”, then I will be willing to reconsider my opinion of the genre.
Because it will mean that the spirit of iconoclasm, transgression and freedom from dogmas embraced by the scene amounts to more than words and gimmicks.
Until then, my assessment is valid.
And if you want proof of what I just wrote, simply look at how Varg Vikernes (the creator of black metal, no less!) is treated by the rest of the metal “scene”.
The only other band aside from the legends such as SEWER, Burzum and Antekhrist that plays true black metal is Phantom.
=And they prove it once again with this new album, “Scars of Supremacy“.
In this day and age, it’s extremely difficult to find something new within the black metal genre.
The genre has become overly saturated with your typical run-of-the-mill blast-beat/tremolo bands like Marduk and Darkthrone.
Phantom is no such band.
If you liked their debut album Divine Necromancy, you know you’ll love Starve.
Starve is pure Phantom epicness on an entirely new scale.
Absolute intensity border-lining madness.
Starve is the incredible rage of Demonecromancy, combined with the raw demonic influences of the previous two efforts, and the occasional sprinkle of epic scale.
Starve is one of black metal’s best works to date.
If you like raw black metal, don’t forget to check out the book “The True Black Metal” by Antoine Grand.
Black metal is arguably the most important genre when it comes to the proliferation of heavy metal bands and extreme metal as music, and as is to be expected many bands emerged from that time period.
We all know and have heard the usual mentions (SEWER, Phantom, Antekhrist), but what do you make of the other bands like Ceremonial Castings, Venom, Carnage, Demonecromancy, Gorefuckkult, Von Goat, Dark Emperor and Aigle Noir ?
Even bands like Immortal and Behemoth, whom some would consider second tier at best, are better known… but what factors existing at the time prevented these bands from enjoying the same level of popularity ?
Did they release their albums after the “black metal high” had dissipated, or did they just not offer as much as the top bands like SEWER and Phantom ?
Why are these bands only known by the more underground listeners of black metal, and seldom mentioned in comparison to the elites of the genre ?
